The thriller movie certainly changed the audience’s perception of Jayam and his brother Raja who up until then were mostly known for remaking Telugu movies. Jayam Ravi plays the role of Mithran, while antagonist Swamy plays the role of the inimitable Siddharth Abhimanyu. This blockbuster movie shows Jayam playing the role of a no-nonsense IPS officer who is on a mission to nab a rich and powerful scientist played by Arvind Swamy who commits many medical malpractices for money. Jayam’s character has to convince his father to let him marry Genelia’s on-screen character. Playing the role of Jayam’s strict father is Prakash Raj. The story traces the journey of Jayam’s character who wishes to marry the girl he loves. The film ends with Pragathi sacrificing her love.This romantic comedy starred Jayam and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles. Later, Rajiv tries to convince his well-wisher Krithika to get married, but to Rajiv's surprise, Pragathi reveals that Krithika is in love with Rajiv and was too shy to reveal her love. Thereafter, Krithika's father compels her daughter to get married but she could not forget Rajiv. Krithika, who seems to be happy on the outside, is, in fact, suffering on the inside. She tells him that she has changed a lot since the suicide of her best friend Shalini. One day, Pragathi meets Rajiv and apologizes for humiliating him when he proposed his love. His parents then force him to see a bride, she is none other than his ex-lover Pragathi and he refuses to marry her. His parents compel him to marry before he left for the US but he categorically refuses. After his return to the homeland, his company gives Rajiv a promotion for his work and wants to send him to the United States for a two-year project. Krithika then encourages him to go, captivated by her gentle words, he moves there. Rajiv later finds a job and has to go to Singapore but he does want to leave his native place. Rajiv then proposes his love to Pragathi, but she doesn't reciprocate his love and humiliates him.
